I had a deposit down on it. I just couldn’t bring myself to pay about $17k out the door. Too much of a premium for the looks, even though the looks are absolutely tops.

That’s 450lbs dry. I’m not against improved suspension. I’ve got Bitubo fork cartridges and Hagon Nitros on the back of my current Thruxton and it is a completely different bike from stock in terms of handling. Worth every penny. But there’s a point of diminishing returns. I’ve talked to people who’ve spent $3k going

I just cross shopped the THruxton R and ST and went with the ST. And I know plenty of people who have done the same. I still have an older Thruxton that I’ll probably hold onto for when I want to look good pulling up somewhere but even with the new bling the Thruxton R won’t be able to hold a candle to the STR’s

I just did exactly this for exactly this reason. Absolutely no complaints.

I was waiting for this post. Surprised it took so long. I actually put a deposit down on on an R when they were first announced figuring the price would be somewhere not insanely far from where the older models were. But clearly they just looked at the RNineT price and said “Screw it. Let’s make it that much.” If they

Vinales out of the top 10? Wouldn't shock me if he actually won one this year, but he'll get some podiums.

I’m really hoping Vinales takes the big step this year. It would be nice to have some new blood actually competing for the championship outside of the big 3 (and Pedrosa...sorry I just can’t take Pedrosa that seriously). It would also be nice to see Suzuki and Ducati start fielding competitive bikes again which the

Is this THAT different from a WR450F? Weight’s about the same, horsepower’s about the same, price would be just about the same with the bigger engine. Obviously there’s some styling differences but they’re not radically different bikes. You could probably do the cosmetics and ergo changes to the Yamaha a lot more

Showa forks up there. Looks like they heard you.

I want this so so so so bad...Do you think it’ll come with the stickers?

Mostly looks. ST’s just don’t do it for me, although if someone wanted to give me a Super Duke GT for free I wouldn’t say no.

Hey no judgements. I’m in the same boat. I’m pretty sure I’m putting someone at Revzilla’s kid through college with my gear addiction.

I’ve been pretty staunchly anti-HD for years, but lately I’ve had the idea of adding a mid-size cruiser with a nice setup for longer two-up touring to the garage. Been kicking around the idea of a used Street Bob with some midsets (I refuse to get used to riding forward sets...refuse) and a Sundowner. But I wonder if

If it works and the weight isn’t too odd I’d buy one in a heartbeat.

Did the NFL institute some kind of rule forbidding Houston from actually drafting a decent QB? I would pay cash money to have been with JJ Watt when the news broke that he was going to be blowing another 4 years of his career with another backup jamoke under center. I honestly don’t know who I feel more sorry for,

Dusk is the fucking worst. I have routed entire legs of cross country trips around not heading west at the end of the day.

Wait...So we like Bryce Harper now? Life is so confusing!

As someone who has broken way too many clutch levers and footpegs in his life, I just can’t even imagine the process of learning how to do this shit. Imagine if every time you wiped out trying a skateboarding trick it cost you $200. Multiply that times your average Sunday afternoon in an abandoned parking lot. Now

I can't think of one single thing wrong with this. Except maybe that it isn't black. Everyone knows black is the fastest.
