I don't think it's just pets causing the python issue in Florida. There are also a crap ton of illegal exotic pet farms in some of the rural areas, and if they expect a police raid they often just dump their stock into the swamp and start over. Those invasive species are just victims of a larger, market-driven problem.

But if until very recently, the only women of colour pushing prams were nannies, isn't it going to take some people a while to adjust? Is it necessary to be so judgmental?
