This was a great episode; thank you! Last summer I read Peter Heather’s The Restoration of Rome, which had a good bit on Theoderic in it and came to some similar conclusions (at least I think so). I have a question. We call this state the Ostrogothic Kingdom now, but what did Theoderic refer to it as, or what was it

Just finished listening to this episode a few hours; another great job. When you talked about the weak child emperors, it made me think of Dan Jones’ The War of the Roses, which I just finished, and how he seemed to argue that Henry VI’s regency and then extremely ineffectual rule helped cause the War of the Roses.

My wife calls the clubhouse Zombie Mickey, because when it appears it rises up out of the ground looking a bit like a disinterred corpse.
