It’s simply not fair to hold men responsible for their own actions where women are involved. It’s always the women’s fault for letting for them do it (or for not saying no loudly enough or fighting hard enough, or for being dressed like a slut, or for appearing outside without a male chaperone, or for existing and

I’m totally shocked that a man who made his career objectifying women would abuse them and treat them as disposable. Shocked.

Fun Fact, he’s part of the reason PR is in such debt. When his resort down there went belly up, it left the government with a yuuuuuuge unpaid tax bill.

Fuuuuck.

This cracked me up:

Nothing any Trump does is ever “well-meaning.” These people shouldn’t be welcome in our society; impoliteness is the absolute mildest rebuke they deserve.

I think “Take your ill-gotten goods and fuck off” is the proper response. The important message is that even as First Lady no one from that disgusting family should be welcome anywhere.

Nah. This First Lady is trash and she should never be welcome among decent people. Every gift should be returned to her, every invitation declined, every offer refused. This librarian overstated the case against Dr. Seuss, but she did the correct, brave thing in telling Melania to fuck off.

AMY GOODMAN: So, that’s President Trump. Instead of “Heck of a job, Brownie,” it’s “Heck of a job, myself.”

Also, its the perfect example of the empty gestures that this awful family traffics in every day of their lives.

Why doesn’t she start by getting water to kids in Flint?

You’re right. I bet that, without this donation, this library totally has no Dr. Seuss at all anywhere.

He’s still paying back the fucking bill, right?

“These are words Donald Trump just said about Puerto Rico: “The loss of life, it’s always tragic. But it’s been incredible. The results that we’ve had with respect to loss of life. People can’t believe how successful that has been, relatively speaking.” What the fuck does that mean?”

You didn’t read her entire letter. Her points are valid, especially that her school doesn’t need them and if the WH wants to do something substantial for children’s education, they should send books to schools that need it.

What I read into her letter is that Dr. Seuss books are antiquated. They’re classics, but they’re not the reading material children need and that could be most beneficial. And my thought was, most schools already have these books and most children who have the benefit of having books at home have these books. I agree

Small 6-Year-Old Child: Can I have Cat in the Hat?

Kudos to the librarian for amplifying an issue that needs amplifying. The damage her husband’s regime administration is doing and will continue to do to education wouldn’t be fixed with a thousand books.

Weird how every time some new person criticizes Trump, the first response is always, “I don’t like Trump, but this person is even worse!”
