There totally does. And two damn weeks ago the federal government should’ve put out an order that every power company in the country, every water provider, every phone service provider, every gas company sends out ONE bill this month — and they send it to the US Treasury.

There’s nothing else to do; Even landlords get that if they try to boot everyone out they’re left with property that won’t easily get rerented. Apartments and houses are one thing, but what about specialty stores, or gyms, or restaurants? Those spaces aren’t going to auto-convert to easily rented assets.

When I was in Panama a few months ago, we looked at a rental casita with many lemon trees, in bloom. There were fat, shiny lemons all over the grass and when I picked it up it smelled amazing.
