I love your workplace! An oreo taste a thon is excellent use of time. I’ve tried the mint but that’s as adventurous as I’ve gotten. The advantage of group tasting is you get stuck with a whole box if they’re terrible. I know I could throw them out, but I also know that I won't. They'll just sit in a cupboard with all

It's almost as if their opposition to abortion has nothing to do with valuing human life.

I hope you brother's face was ok in the long run! If the dog could've been turned into delicious soup or casserole your mom might've had a different attitude.

I hope not either! There’s definitely raccoons, hawks and even coyotes around.

That’s what I’ve heard. My municipality allows a small number of chickens (4?) There’s a company that will rent out the chickens and all the equipment for 3 seasons and then look after them for the winter. I worry about predators though. Do you parents have trouble with critters trying to eat their chickens?

Now. Get out now. The virus is going to explode there and your governor doesn't have a lot of ideas.

Permanent loss of lung capacity is another complication that scares me.

I remeberr that moment as a child when I successful cut open a milk bag and poured it without the top flopping over and milk everywhere. Such a feeling of accomplishment! And of course I have an aunty who washes her used milk bags to reuse as sandwich baggies.

There’s bread available, I’m just not going shopping more than twice a month. It doesn’t keep that long and there’s no space to freeze any. Too many little jars of leftovers. All in reused jam jars! 😂 I’ve been having veggies delivered every two weeks for a few years (local farm and grocery business.) They sell

Ha! I used the word mcgyvered today too! I found a use for a 2L milk carton because here in Canada we have milk in bags that come in 3 packs. I usually get cartons, so I didn’t have a jug to hold the milk bags. I mcgyvered one with a 2L carton and hockey tape. I feel very 🍁

This city sleeps til noon! Rain helps too. I had a lovely walk in the rain this morning. I even ventured into the park because it looked pretty empty.

There’s been a lot of jingle dress dancing online lately and communities jingle dancing on their porches at the same time. I didn’t know this, but many people consider it to be a healing dance, and after learning about its origins during the last pandemic, I can see why. I’ve been reading more about it on CBC

But but you might might need those someday and now YOU WONT HAVE ANY lol  I was raised by a parent who grew up with rationing, so I have a strong need to save bits of string and twisty things because you never know. Your roommate must be one of those Marie Kondo people!

It’s good that you figured it out. My friend adopted an older dog and spent a lot of time with a vet figuring out the sensitive digestion.

Now playing

Inappropriate peeing would upset anyone. You’re right, the cat might dig up the soil. Maybe you could put them under something to foil the cat? Or maybe just get this bunny.

I've never heard of Tim's. What's their best flavour?

As part of my knee rehab, I set up my bike with a trainer in my bedroom. It seemed odd having a bicycle in my room at first, but now I love having it available to pedal for a few minutes here and there. Routine of any kind is helpful right now.

It takes a while to get through the emotions of a separation. I spent months in a daze binge-watching every episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Take whatever time you need. It sucks that you have to stay home all the time rn. I ate dinner out a lot at pubs or my friends’ just because I wasn’t used to being alone so

Poor puppy! I hope the infection clears up.

Mmmmm pesto. Maybe what you need is a theme to get your roommate on board, like a mojito garden or a pesto garden.
