Second this; if you think about it, you are talking about a 2-3 month minimum turnaround for someone to figure out the cutofff, people to apply, get screened etc before the payouts even start, and that’s not even allowing for a whole bunch of people to not being in the office and not being set up to work from home.

I agree. I work in a hospital. I’m not going to get laid off. Give it to people who need it. Give it to gig workers who can’t collect unemployment. Give it to people whose hours are cut. Give it to tipped workers who won’t be making tips.
