That was me last week when my premier, who hates teachers unions and public spending, closed all the schools until April but is still paying teachers. Then he started saying nice things about Justin Trudeau's deputy prime minister, whom he also dislikes. Then I knew that we're deeply, deeply fucked.

As well as the shortage of blood donations. Trudeau urged Canadians to donate, and the American Red Cross blood bank is low because all the donor clinics in the community take place in venues which are now closed.

I’m an atheist, and I’m not sure what the atheist version of “god keep you” is, but it’s the wish I want to send everyone right now. Stay well!

Ok. My sister moved in temporarily a couple weeks ago, and now it’s indefinite. On the one hand, we will eventually have a fight, which I’m dreading, but on the other hand, I’m glad to have someone to talk to and share bills.

My parents are web savvy Silent Generation, so they’ve been facetiming with their pals. Mom is doing social distance exercise with her bff via computer lol They don’t plan to go shopping, my sibs and I will drop groceries at the door.

I’m a teacher, and so far there’s no direction on what I should do on Monday, when our spring holiday is officially over, but schools are closed. I don’t think parents are going to be happy with the official ministry of ed page of weblinks, and nothing else. Also this monday was supposed to be my 1st day back at work…

I've been baking vegan bread for the same reason. I'm going to ask my mom what they did when eggs and dairy were rationed.

I’ve been baking bread out of necessity (sp?) This evening I also made a lovely risotto, mostly so we could finish off the bottle of white wine with dinner. On my 2nd glass, and it’s going right to my head :)

And Trudea underlined it by saying he would be taking a test from someone who needed it, if he didn't follow guidelines. I thought it was a great way to make it clear that you have to meet criteria for a test, and that the doctors are in charge.
