I loved that his past conduct was admissible. It has always enraged me that a guy could be accused, charged and even convicted of sex crimes and it wouldn’t be heard unless it got as far as sentencing. Meanwhile the defence would blame his behaviour on the victim’s choice of underwear.

Kavanaugh isn’t that old, and neither are a lot of the judges Trump is appointing. There needs to be some serious activism to overturn assaults on voter registrations, to fix gerrymandering and get some reasonable people on the bench. Everything's really fucked.
