Ohhh okay. So even though this game is missing 80% of what made fallout 3 and 4 playable, (followers, quest givers, dialog with actual dialog choices, an actual game, a narrative besides “follow the overseers diary entries and read them”) it does have “walking” and “outdoors” which makes it exactly the same.
And…

why do people using laser swords that instantly ignite fabric wear giant, floor length robe-dresses with massive sleeves that cover their hands?

the cities of fallout 3-4 and NV are filled with towns of dozens of people with work schedules, children, families, and interesting quests.

here a bunch of books on tape give you random fetch quests that work 15% of the time.

in 80 hours of the game i’ve managed to finish 5 quests.
all the others have enemies that dont spawn, quest markers that point at nothing, quest items that deactivate, or just randomly fail while i’m walking down the street.

meanwhile the enemies that DO appear have weapons pointing sideways, and the cap system is…

there’s an overseer tape where she yells that she’s seen you and your other 76 dwellers launching nukes at each other and she asks WTF is wrong with you you think this is a GAME?! WHY AREN’T YOU REBUILDING AMERICA YOU’RE JUST NUKING RANDOM GAS STATIONS

it was a cute meta joke while slogging from broken quest to broken…

so 1/10th as many stores as they hoped still accounted for 80% of the revenue they projected? If they’re able to get the 5,000 shops they wanted they’d be 800% funded...

one hour into the game i grabbed the power armor in the pharmacy.  take THAT, tiny possum!

i never liked how my supposedly 7 feet tall, 400 pound armor wouldnt dent a molerat if i dropped 100 feet on it.

with the right in-game upgrades to the armor, anything i land on shatters, and running into someone at full speed knocks them off a building and breaks limbs.

brought a REALNESS to the game that nothing else…

now now, as with all apps, once my 4 year old iPhone SE is done playing the game, you Android kids can have the leftovers of last year’s hits!

oh i would love a more extreme hard mode, but your comment reminded me- we got a lot of complaints that it wasn’t hard enough, but we could check the user data and saw that 1 out of 100 people ever played it on the hardest difficulty.

Skyrim runs on the switch and Skyrim was a lot more intense than Reckoning ever was, unless there were some hidden memory leaks i was not aware of

Elder Scrolls has about half as many players as total number of people who’ve watched the Super Bowl.  I’m pretty sure a lot of people have heard of football 

I worked on that game for two years and was excited for our early prototypes of the sequel and the MMO.

I’d be just fine playing the original on Switch!
