Meh. Day one, 1.5 TB harddrive, $45. Wii U, on sale, $220. Day one, Xbone with 0.5 = $500. That’s ridiculously unreasonable. By not including the memory, Nintendo allowed you to use your own, or buy any third party drive dirt-cheap from anywhere. Xbone and Sony’s proprietary crap costs 300% more. Well, my Wii U flash

They did. That’s why, on day one, the box clearly says “buy one of these external memory units” . They were

The handheld and the home console use the same flash technology, though. My non-arcade, original 360 had a 20 GB drive for $100. At the time, you could buy a generic PC harddrive for $20. My PS3, just a few years ago, cost $160. For an extra $100, i could get the one with ...a 100GB larger drive. And yes, the Xbone

You’ve spent nearly a dozen posts in tears about how the $8 32GB flash drive expansion for the wii is a terrible, terrible thing, and no one can play games on it, and omg, EXPAND the harddrive? Invest in EIGHT WHOLE DOLLARS?? OMG. That’s not a straw man. That’s you literally whimpering in fear at having to buy an $8

Yup, nothing’s worse than spending $8 on a 32GB flash drive to download a dozen games onto your wii u. I think I have about 35 games downloaded to mine right now, some of which are 10GB, some of which are 100MB. And it cost EIGHT whole bucks! Nearly 4 years ago! That’s literally 13% of the cost of the same size memory

Yes, everyone knows that the discontinued wii u from many years ago had a small harddrive, and needed a memory card/flash drive, like the PS2, PS1, Gamecube, 3DS, Vita, etc etc did. That’s why absolutely everyone went out and bought one on the first day. “Invest ina hard drive” - you mean the only way to play and save

So, you never owned a playstation 1, playstation 2, gamecube memory card, and your Xbox 360 still has the original, $100 20GB harddrive for it? If you don’t want to pay $8 for a 32GB wii u flash drive, that’s fine. Enjoy paying $66 for the Sony Vita flash drive of the exact same size. “rabble rabble, what kind of

What do you mean by one game? This is one of the smaller wii u downloadables, and there are dozens of them.

Are there really people left alive that don’t have 100-1,000 GB drives on their wii u? Are these the same people who owned playstation 1 and 2s but refused to buy memory cards?

they can tell them to buy a $8 32GB generic thumb drive like everyone else. Or, feel free to buy a Vita, with its $60 32GB proprietary flash card.

My Wii U had a 1.5 TB. Are you thinking of a different system?

If you’ve owned a wii u for 4 years and still havent bought a single flash drive/memory card for it, you’re not playing games. Does the same person have a ps2 and no memory cards ?

My wii u has had a 1TB since day one, cost me 45 bucks. I later picked up a smaller flash drive for $8. I have about 40 games on mine, and I still have a fair amount of room.

yeah, but they charge you $10000 for a 64GB Vita card. you can jam a third party harddrive into the PS3 with some work, but ehhh

My 360, when i first bought it, had a 20Gb harddrive for $100. This was a few years ago, but harddrives were nowhere near that expensive.
The difference between the 16GB iJiggy and the 32 is typically $100-150. The Vita memory card is what, 32Gb for $66 on Amazon right now?. Yep.

I bought a 4 mm long 32GB thumb drive

and, terrible games to boot. Oh, Zynga. You mass produce other people’s garbage at 10x the price, then honestly seem shocked when your stock plummets. Oh wait, not shocked- your founder and CEO sold 90% of his stock the day it went public, because even the founder knew your jobs were pointless and soon to be lost.
Ah

It was so bad. The brand recognition was a huge part of their downfall. Give me a Mario screenshot, or Zelda, and even if i never played that one or never finished it i can tell you the name of it. I can recognize Witcher at a glance, and most racing games, even tho i only play one series. But the Ville games? Dear

Not exactly a myth, but I’m always shocked when I meet hardcore Bethesda fans who live near Bethesda, and have no idea that’s where its located. When Bethesda makes a game called Fallout 3 that’s entirely about the Bethesda to DC area, you’d think they’d get the hint..
other times, people seeking internships/entry

I worked on 4, maybe 5 Zynga titles. Several were successful, yes. Enough to fill 2, even 3 offices- not several offices on the same street. BALLS they were bad at everything...
