With Jamie Foxx

I know Joel Schumacher gets a lot of sticky but if his Batman had been a mix of Lost Boys and Flatliners, it could have been genuinely great. It looks like the studio took the worst bits of his style (neon) and ditched the darker aspects.

As the article states, words are supposed to have double standards. Context can pretty much define a word. Take contronyms - words that mean one thing and their exact opposite. And the n-word is the same - and could almost be a contronym - to many it’s a sign they dislike someone, to other sit’s a sign they like them.

Donald Glover’s hand movements and ‘Pockets’ bit - laughed so much.

Interesting this came out before Get Out. Has a lot of parallels.

Assuming when they say paying $125m for it, that’s the budget, not that they’ve made it and they’re paying $125m to buy it?

Beat me to it.

“Books are the one realm where I often have a hard time just letting go and enjoying a pulpy paperback.” Me too. Why is that? I’m happy to watch crappy action movies, silly comedies and crappy rom coms, but with books I struggle to enjoy pulpy stuff. On that note, i’m currently reading Ham on Rye by Bukowski, which at

Spider-Man: Ashes to Ashes?

Also, bit of a spoiler so look away if you must..

Enjoyed this but thought the action was a bit pedestrian and often blurred and hard to see. The clarity of one and one fights seen in early Avengers films and ones like Civil War and Winter Solider was lost a bit here. Also, one of the great things about Avengers was us and them learning about their powers - Ant Man

Brian Tyree Henry is the heart of this show - his Alfred is awesome.

Loved Alfred’s texts and concern over phone usage as a drug dealer. Genius little details.

What is this show? Seriously. We’ve had serial killers, Scream style slasher movies, Purge-esque gangs, old-time asylums, Silence of the Lambs, Warriors style gangs (so many gangs), Twin Peak mysteries, Goodfellas/Soprano mobs, High School Musicals, gay teen drama, comedy, and everything else they could throw at it.

Yes, it looks fun - but another “we must destroy the world to make it clean again” storyline. Seriously.

Ok - so just read up on this and apparently it’s a mix of Freddie, Rami and soundalikes. Interesting.

Seems like they’ve kept Freddie’s vocals. Think Rami Malik is a great choice but having him sing would have been weird.

Always loved this film, mainly because it’s filled with great British character actors like Charles Dance (famous and respected long before this and GoT), Brian “Beware the moon, lads” Glover, Ralph Brown, and future Doctor Paul McGann.

As Lois Lane she was the only one to balance the strong willed, intelligence with a sense of fun. Her Lane seemed like she genuinely loved her job - and was good at it.

Climax sounds like a rip off of The Maureen Ponderosa Wedding Massacre
