I miss a bit the overall picture - Pocket is a recommended app for Android phones, whereas Instapaper isn’t. It would be nice if there were some sort of table in which you can choose the best app for a certain function (saving articles, keeping notes, password manager) based on the devices you have.

I think this only works with certain expenses. With gas, telephone bills, etc. it would work. With groceries for example, I would buy more expensive goods if I my budget is too big.
