It's not as bad as the guy who plays Littlefinger, but does Peter Dinklage have full control over that accent he's using? People are saying that was great acting … but I was distracted by way his accent was lurching all over the place.

Unless "rules" has different meanings, so that ruling really doesn't rule at all (i.e. now that she actually rules, people can stop saying "this chick rules!!").

She ruled before. Now … not so much.

Writers get paid to phrase things well though.

What is Dany wasting her time listening to people's complaints for? She has an army, dragons, and a world to conquer. Suddenly the bad-ass has a conscience? I hope it doesn't last.

Also, does this parenthetical make any sense? "(save for Varys, who’s back in a big way this week—as well he should be in an episode )"

Shae has always been obtuse, entitled, and annoying. Whatever circumstances led to her being a witness at the trial, her lies are in no way justified. Have some fucking honor. She gets no sympathy from me.

OK

Take this shit to the experts page, please.

It's safe to say Oberyn prefers his men (and women) sullied … so very sullied.

Violently ticklish

Yvonne Strahovski is just insanely beautiful.

Maybe he meant "Long may (s)he reign"?

I would say the reviewer clearly wants to APPEAR very intelligent, but his observations and theories are usually so far off the mark, one has to wonder …

Serious question: What does the "Long may she(s) reign" subhead mean?

Among other things. Oh well, at least we got a lengthy consideration of the showrunners' sexual politics.

Obviously you didn't pay attention to Tywin's speech last week.

In terms of all the turgid overanalysis, yes, OK, those things matter. But no, I'm actually more interested in how the characters feel about their actions, each other, and their world than I am in how a bunch of people on the Internet feel about those things.

They're just wildlings. Not a high-born psychopath like the queen regent.

"…it’s looking like the assault in the sept has been cast deep into troublesome 'rape as plotpoint' territory."
