“Where does Gambi’s income come from?”

BL threatening to electrocute Gambi was disturbing. That’s basically like Batman threatening to beat up Lucius Fox.

No way! I had not heard.

It’s a bit odd to see the line “Its co-founder, an engineer named Nolan Bushnell” suddenly appear nearly halfway through the article, which has already been discussing Bushnell at length. Was this cut-and-pasted? Written by more than one person? Rearranged and then not edited? Or what?

Please go back to the Mirror Universe. It’s obviously where you’re from.

“Hell, as far as I can remember, no one even mentions his name”

Not if you want it to look like a literal tree. There’s precedent in Norman Rockwell, of all people:

“for a few years in the mid-‘00s”

White guy: Look, I’m just trying to make a reasonable point here.

What does “The Shape of Water” have to do with Tarantino?

Notable in “Ford Falcon” is not just “Falcon” but, y’know, “Ford.”

It’s the best Star Trek since DS9.

“It exists in direct contradiction to the optimism and idealism that is at the core of Star Trek”

“Every single person on board of this ship knows who she is.”

In fairness, James Frain’s human ears are on the large size also:

Well, a female officer whom a) they don’t know, who b) goes wrong voluntarily, versus a male officer whom a) they’ve previously been friends with, who b) goes wrong under mind control (more or less).

In the tie-in novels it’s supposedly explained that Starfleet is phasing out the holograms because they’re too expensive.

I don’t think this is a show you should turn your brain off for. One of the main themes of this season (and Tilly essentially said it this episode) is that the mirror universe represents a temptation within us that we need to be on guard against. The previewed Burnham/Cornwell conflict from next episode seems to bear

Or the fact that in TOS it was a Starfleet rule that women couldn’t be captains.

“I guess Voq has been fridged for now”
