When she starts arguing with Saru about “palatability” (as per the preview), I think the bridge crew is going to feel somewhat concerned.

Han Solo: But the word ‘parsec’ can mean so many different things ....

Also, the hacker genius uses his son’s birthdate as a password.

I think Cayden is great. I wish his motivations were more complicated than just revenge-plus-megalomania though.

“this is supposed to be a franchise about hope, and instead we’re just getting a lot of flashy explosions and exciting new varieties of darkness”

It’s not much of a “twist,” since it was loudly telegraphed way back in season 7, about 18 years ago.

Anyone who was paying attention has known this “reveal” ever since season 7, almost 18 years ago. The time to get mad was then, surely?

Why weren’t you made back in season 7 when it was strongly hinted that this is what had happened? This isn’t a brand new plot point; it’s 18 years old.

It’s not really a retcon. It was clearly hinted at back in season 7, almost 20 years ago. In episode 7.15 the Smoking Man drugs Scully and she wakes up in different clothing; in episode 7.22 she announces she’s pregnant..

Hyperspace-jumping into an asteroid field? That seems kinda suicidal.

If living on Mars or the Moon counts as “living in space,” why doesn’t living on Earth count as “living in space”?
