Not to burst Taylor’s bubble, but Kesha did this same thing to a slightly lesser extent -ranking people to get access to presale tickets. Play the video on youtube (up to 5x a day), play the song on spotify, pre-order the album, etc. etc.

It seems to be the new model and Taylor is just joining the line....
