Agreed. She knows that the country is now in the hands of someone who does not give a single fuck about its people, particularly its vulnerable people. At all. And I think she, like her husband (*sob*), actively cares about this country and its people, particularly its vulnerable people.

Watching her this morning moved me more than I anticipated it would. It felt like, not only the end of her tenure as FLOTUS, but the end of civility, intellectualism, and empathy in Washington for a long time to come. And when she choked up near the end, I think it’s because she knows it, too.

The difference is that you need toilet paper if you don’t have a bidet. You need gas for your car if you don’t have good public transit.

Everything you do or buy likely benefits some asshole you disagree with. I often wipe my ass with toilet paper made by Kimberly Clark (Koch), and I’ve enjoyed the occassional Chik-Fil-a sandwich or Coor’s beer (not often).

I think they’re smart enough to figure out that once they cultivate their die hard fan base, they can literally do anything and their fans will justify it or put up with it.

Because the victim is white...The guys are shouting “Fuck Trump” and “Fuck white people”. I mean sure fuck Trump but really fuck white people?
