For Honor is a game that makes people who don’t play/are terrible at fighting games want to believe that they’re playing a fighting game saying “me too!”.

Quickplay means nothing. I can play Torb on attack and still “carry” the team because no one takes quickplay seriously, and that’s what it’s there for: people who aren’t feeling to play ranked hop in to fuck around.
But people who are “good at” smash are not good at Street Fighter or any other traditional fighting games. There’s so little overlap. That just goes to show that those two games are just so different and aren’t in the same ballpark/genre.

So I guess Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is also a fighting game since you pick characters/Combat Rigs and have them fight one another.
