I don’t like either solution, but the screen has more surface area. Something small can make it under the halo’s bars and still strike the driver. With either solution, something could pop over the top and hit the driver. Don’t expect miracles.

Go back to the old format. Qualifying used to be just as fun to watch as the race if not better. F1 needs a handicapping system to slow down runaway teams - maybe like adding weight to the leaders. I’m surprised this still happens with today’s tech. One of the trains must have been switched onto the wrong track many miles before they met. There should have been enough time to detect this problem and sent emergency signals to stop one or both of them.

I don’t see the biker posing a mortal threat to the cop and was compliant. The ramming, gun, and kick weren’t necessary. Biker deserved a citation. Biker simply failed to stop and was not evading. Cop was all upset having to weave in and out of traffic and probably made the situation more dangerous for the other

No one is shedding a tear for Pastor. Renault is not as desperate for his money as was Lotus. They are looking for an out and a way to put in a driver that can put them near the front.

F1 Constructor’s Championship, let’s get rid of totalling the points from both cars. That way, we can avoid these overly orchestrated finishes that are at odds with what the driver’s individually have to do.
