Low profile tires are simply expensive and wasteful in areas with bad roads. Each to his own, but manufacturers don’t offer higher profile options.

Each to his own when owners mod their cars, but manufacturers should stop adding to ownership costs with bent wheels and blown out tires. Not to mention the harsher ride, and bad weather traction. Most owners don’t need such wide and low profile tires on mainstream vehicles.

What stops someone from doing that?  Common courtesy.

I hate grilles altogether.  They’re just expanses of cheap, black plastic.  Making them bigger is worse.
