I found BCO a bit mean-spirited and the comments even more so. I’m not sad it’s gone.

He was petty on top of it all too. I think he once told me there was a special place in hell for me because I grew up calling it “pop” and not “soda” and if he was kidding, his tone certainly didn’t convey it. ‘Cause who would expect a journalist (ahem...) to understand regional dialects. I don’t miss him.

I don’t really understand why people found his crass, one-note shouting funny. I thought his metaphors were tortured and he aggregated the same content over and over, definitely not a natural writer, that one.
