My biggest gripe with the sequels was they lost the question that was so essential to the first book: Is it still the right thing to do, if less people suffer if I don’t?

For anyone wondering Dune is one of those amazing works that is even more relevant today then it was when it was originally published. After a slow start (25 or so pages) it morphs into an exciting romp with an important environmental message. I really can’t say enough good things about the book.

That Murphy hit should have been offsetting penalties. Murphy started his tackle motion at the same instant Cam started his sliding motion. He didn’t aim for Newton’s head. He still should have been penalized, according to the rules. Intent isn’t supposed to matter.
