Glissading is serious good fun. Never saw a dog take to it like that, though.

Why don’t blind people go sky diving?

Yet there is still no word on the long awaited Keytar Hero? I want to pretend like I can play ‘Frankenstein’ damn it!

Hey Jason!

Fun thing to keep in perspective: Homo neanderthalensis while extinct today, existed for some 500-600 thousand years. Homo sapiens sapiens on the other hand, we are just now reaching 200 thousand years. We might have landed on the moon and swaddled our derrieres in blue jeans, but we are not yet even half as

Memory fails you. It was against the Pittsburgh Steelers who could not play starting safety Ryan Clark due to the altitude in Denver clashing with his sicklemia.

“’My point, you so graciously pointed out is “(barring health insurance)“. There is no reason he had to be stuck with a $1500 bill at all.’”

I’m not sure why you are insisting the existence of poor people is proof that 1500$ is not a crippling amount of debt. Weird argument. Point is, a person can be hit by a car tomorrow. Nothing they could have done to prevent it. Hospital bill is going to be atleast 1500$ (barring health insurance). If that person had

1500 dollars straight out of pocket is a problem. 1500 dollars that you owe and can pay off over time is shit that happens in life that sucks. Being prepared pays for itself about four times over in the course of a lifetime. Especially for the unprepared, managing debt in today’s world is more important than being

No adult should have to ask for charity to cover 1500 bucks that can be paid off on a monthly basis. 50 bucks a month and that shit is paid for in two and a half years. Hospitals don’t charge interest.

My thoughts exactly. Recreational skiing is expensive with both single time outlays for gear and ongoing expenses. How can he afford to ski, but can not afford to set up a payment plan for 1500 dollars? 50 bucks a month and that shit is paid off in two and half years. Hospitals don’t charge interest.

Well, it depends. It’s the manner in which you feed them/respond to them that promotes begging. If you put any leftovers or treats in their bowl like their normal food ration they will be much less likely to beg for food.

Pretty much anything scarfed off the floor is going to be in such small quantities that the absolute worst that would happen would be killer flatulence and a tummy ache.

A corpse is still preferable to having you pull up a chair.

A lot of restaurants in Japan you have a small griddle right at your table or every seat has a hot plate. You grab the ingredients you like cook it yourself.

God that’s slick.

I’m amused by all the people mocking superstitions up thread. I guarantee 99% of those coins were for shits and giggles. People tossed those coins because of tradition not in a genuine attempt to sway fate. Y’all are the fricken dunces you accuse others of being.

Hmm....a human being is certainly more powerful than a wolf. But wolves shit all over us when it comes to speed and endurance.

My brother-in-law has a big bad rottweiler. That dog is terrified of me. Just me. He’s not a wussy dog or anything, but all I have to do is give him a mean look and he hides behind the couch (or my sister). This enrages my brother-in-law as he got the dog specifically to be a guard dog.

Yeah, that was one of the dumbest things I’ve ever read. Wolves can find the neck or the hamstring on pretty much any animal in the world.
