The rebooted Jumanji series is really fun. Not just because of Karen Gillan in that costume. But it definitely does not hurt

I suppose if you’re going to remake Faces of Death, this is probably the best way to do it. It would be great if it touched on the mental toll that content moderators face reviewing the awful shit they see day to day.

I understand where Proyas is coming from, but if anybody is going to play gatekeeper it should be James O'Barr. He created the comic as a means of dealing with his fiance getting killed by a drunk driver, then watched the narrative of the character get permanently associated with the death of someone else instead. 

There are plenty of created works that deviate from the source material and provide good or better works.

Don’t change stuff from the source material and you’ll please 95% of the fans, sadly hollywood tends to fail on this point over and over again....
