We should all boycott SNL until they retire this hateful character.

Propaganda is just a stupid word to use here. The writers of 90s SNL sketches were not out to advance any agenda beyond cheap laughs and a character that can be lazily reused ad nauseum.

Yes and no. As with the contemporanious Zowie Bowie situation, the musician father never legally adopted his stage name, so there was never a "Rolan Bolan" birth certificate besmirching the dignity of Her Majesty's public records.

I think he has a point. He was an easy target for reasons that stemmed heavily from him being such a visibly stressed and miserable person constantly aware that he was in way over his head. Meanwhile numerous members of the administration who both have much more real power and are blissfuly certain of themselves

Which is in itself probably not as bad as "first thing let's kill all the lawyers" being used without mentioning it's from a villain wanting to get away with various evil deeds.

A worthy response to everything Ann Coulter has ever said.

"Landau reportedly taught with Jack Nicholson, Harry Dean Stanton, and Anjelica Huston" should probably read something like "he was reportedly an acting coach to Jack Nicholson, etc." They were not faculty together at some sort of acting school.

The correct response is to ask for your seat reservation fee back if it is worth the bother to you (politely, keeping in mind that the employees you interact with do not set policy for the airline and do not need to be yelled at) and then gripe about the incident when somebody asks how your trip went.

It was a fairly integral part of the story that did no damage not already done, and saved the curious from having to go to some dread corner of the internet like Coulter's twitter account. Also, the occasional invasion aside, this site is not a den of alt right shit trolls. Rather it is a place where Coulter's

I agree that it is unwarranted in this context, but reserve the right to suggest that she is a transexual on the next occasion she says something awful about transexuals.

She endorsed a President who would certainly consider a sign of being a huge loser, so it seems fair to judge her by such a world-view.

Yes, but I very much doubt that is the case with her. Our assumption that she is wealthy is based on her being a terrible person in a profession where dumptrucks of money seem to arrive at the doors of people for being terrible.

I think Jim Morrison still spends a lot of time in Paris though.

Please. I'm not sure if I would actually deem Nirvana the most overrated band of all time, but it is definitely the grossly overrated band that seems to most often be lauded by people who never spend much time listening to their music anymore.

You're not part of a problem. If someone's going to bash on late 90s music that's perfectly sensible, but Flagpole Sitta and You Get What You Give are easily my favorite songs of their respective years. The problem is there is a negligible number of other songs I enjoy from those years.

No, they replaced David Brent with this lookalike just before they changed the name from Forgone Conclusion to Smash Mouth.

Absolutely. It's similar to the way I know that this guy who claims to be named Art Alexakis is actually named Everclear.

My God, people clucking tongues over someone getting remarried! It's not as though this has been a universal phenomenon in every human culture throughout known history or anything.

I'm seeing a lot of opposition to the Rock's candidacy here. But you're all a bunch of naïve dreamers if you think it's not going to be frivolous entertainers elected to the presidency from here on out. The goal should be to support the least evil ones.

None of the spacecraft I've built have worked out either, so I try not to judge.
