The supply of parts will only get better over time. The touchscreen shouldn’t be a hard fix, you just have to swap it out with a new one if it breaks. I haven't heard of people having to do that though. I would recommend getting a screen protector.
If you are actually using the range then you should charge it to 100. However, if you are not driving that far then you should charge it less. What matters most is how long the battery stays at a high level of charge. Charging up and using it immediately is fine.

If you enjoy technology, smooth acceleration, and efficiency, then it is immensely fun. My kids are endlessly entertained by it. I have never been bored of my Model 3. If you cannot find the fun in it, then that is on you.

As cool as those older cars are, I wouldn’t go for a first year 3 or Y, or a pre-2015 S or X. Honestly, the S and X were behind the 3 and Y in quality until about last year when they did all these updates. The batteries are designed to last 500,000 miles, but that depends heavily on environmental factors and charging habits. If you baby the battery you’ll probably get close to if not the full 500,000 miles. If you Supercharge it to 100% everyday, then you’ll burn out the battery way faster. I don’t know if a 150,000…
