If you start a car review expecting not to enjoy the car, guess what conclusion you’re going to come to?

Good luck getting a dealership to actually sell you one anywhere close to MSRP even after you custom ordered it and waited for delivery.

Enough are to make the average sale price $44k.

The average transaction price for an F-150 is $44k.

While probably true, there are no official statistics to support this.

I’m sure the original founders Martin Eberhard and Marc Tarpenning weren’t big fans of it. But Elon took it away from them and this is the result.

As cool as those older cars are, I wouldn’t go for a first year 3 or Y, or a pre-2015 S or X. Honestly, the S and X were behind the 3 and Y in quality until about last year when they did all these updates. I can’t wait to see how long those generations of cars last, but since I have one I guess I have a front row seat

The batteries are designed to last 500,000 miles, but that depends heavily on environmental factors and charging habits. If you baby the battery you’ll probably get close to if not the full 500,000 miles. If you Supercharge it to 100% everyday, then you’ll burn out the battery way faster. I don’t know if a 150,000

No oil changes, brakes, transmission service, or spark plugs?

Seriously! Not having a transmission is my number one favorite Tesla features.

Have you ever tried deicer spray? Or remote start to heat it up?

When things are poorly engineered, they’re going to fail prematurely under normal use. Those kinds of things need to be recalled. That's entirely on the manufacturer.

True you can’t duct tape it, or cut a piece of plastic and stuff it in. If you want to fix it, you have to buy a fully functional printed circuit board, or display panel, etc, and replace the whole thing. However, the physical labor part is basic. You’re just plugging in wires and screwing things in. Even the geometry

It’s 2021 not 1980. If the screen breaks, you pop it out and put a new one on. If the circuit board breaks, you pop it out and put a new one in. If the software breaks, you pull over, hard reset it and keep going. If that doesn’t work, service can reflash it. All of these are easy tasks that a clever highschool kid

Remote climate control to heat up the car and maybe a can of deicer can usually save you from frozen door handles. It is a silly issue but easy to solve.

Thankfully, the Model Y and Model 3 and free of most of that stuff. The door handles are still silly but not too complicated. The glass ceiling is nice but definitely not practical in the event of rock chips or any glass damage. It’s $700-900 to fix. However, the rest of it is solid, sometimes you’ll have cosmetic

That’s what happens when you create an electric car company, invent the technology to make it practical, and then let a looney rich guy, buy into your business. Next thing you’re out, he’s in charge, and your designs are rolling around with fancy door handles that don’t work, falcon doors that don’t work, and a FSD

CTE is enough reason to stop giving the NFL our time, money, and attention. The fact that it’s full of blatant racism should be more than enough. Yet here we are, with black people still clamoring for it. I guess all they have to do to control us, is make a few of us rich and famous and boom, total obedience.

You have a critical piece of history there wrong.
