That's how should be, and that can start with higher accountability to the public. We should know what complaints are being filled about the police. We should be able to get bad cops fired without a video and a protest.

If MS-13 shot unarned people on camera and went to trial with video proof, they would go to prison. Saying they “feared for their lives” against unarmed people would not work as a defense. If they broke into their neighbors apartment and shot him in cold blood and they were caught, they would not be released to go…
I haven't considered airports. However, living in MD I don't see where I would be going that I would stop in Atlanta. Even a trip to South America can be made without a second stop in the US. I usually take the most direct flights I can.
I don't trust Georgia to deliver justice. Honestly, I can't imagine myself ever stepping foot in that state. God bless all those braver than me.
I don't know what the current population numbers are, but between what's happening with immigration, COVID-19, and voter suppression, I am worried that demographics may not mean enough to them. White South Africans were the minority and they still kept Apartheid going for a long time.

I have to disagree with you. I served in Iraq with the US Army Reserves, many of the soldiers I deployed with were police officers in their day jobs. I understand the challenges of breaching a building, and I value the safety of law enforcement.
They should be required to announce themselves as officers of the law prior to entry. Anything less gives the resident a reasonable plea for self defense. Police activity should never be indistinguishable from a home invasion. That is not a “reasonable search,” which is precisely what the Constitution prohibits.
The high rates of turnover for black engineers is especially disconcerting. The last time I looked into it I read reports of that as well as challenges with raises and promotions.
