I could easily replace my Jeep with an EV. Unfortunately, we don’t have infinite money so we only have one Tesla and my wife wants an SUV. I personally, don’t use it anymore. The Model 3 is our road trip car. I am sure most Tesla owners who still have gas cars are in a similar boat as me. Replacing cars takes time.

Batteries are more reliable than diesel engines. Trains only use diesel for energy density. If they had enough powerlines they'd be pure EV like the Metrorail in DC.
