Hearing an Aston Martin in person is never a disappointing experience.

This is a solution looking for a problem. Plenty of silent EV’s and hybrids grace the roads today and it hasn't been a problem. Tire noise is sufficient. Please stop trying to kill electric cars with dumb laws!

Bad weather is less an issue than construction zones are. As long as the lines on the road are visible it's going to drive better than people do. Once those lines are gone or overruled by traffic cones and traffic cops, it stops working.

Battery fabrication is not equivalent to burning gas. Gasoline still has to be refined and transported. Additionally, gasoline engines still need to be built. What you are doing is called cherry picking.

Not really necessary. My charging stops are usually 20 minutes because charging past 90% is pointless and not good for the battery. Trying to do anything with a 20 minute break is hard enough. Even fast food takes longer, changing diapers can take longer, about the only thing you can reliably finish that fast is pee

EV conversion.

I think the C7 is better. It has the correct number of pedals and it looks better.

An F350 King Ranch Crew Cab weighs more. You can add a snow plow and 40 inch tires to further boost your crash safety.

Get an insulated steel water bottle and fill it with ice water. Instant cool box. Works in any car and is portable. Even comes in sizes up to 64 oz.

I don't want that. I just want to be able to pop it without dropping my groceries, and close it with minimal force. I would gladly pay $200 for that.

No idea how to use reverse? I guess the radio got him anyway.

Should have bought a Tesla. I always use my frunk. I put my work badge, laptop, water bottle, and lunch in there. Seeing it all laid out keeps me from forgetting one. I do wish it was easier to open and close, but apparently Elon had the same imagination shortcoming that you do. Hopefully the aftermarket will fix it.

Even with a system optimized for cost effective orbital launches like say a “Lofstrom Launch Loop” you would still have a massive increase in costs. We’re better off using less toxic processes and finding ways to ecologically eliminate toxic by products. The world of bacterial life has many promising possiblities for

Most “ethical conundrums” are really easy to solve. Think of how you would want a loved one to treat you? You don’t make rules banning children, or sterilize people. You warn them, you offer options, and if they run into problems due to their choices, you help them as much as you can. It’s the same way you treat any

We could terraform Mars by crashing asteroids into it. But then it would take over a millennia to cool off and the added mass could alter the orbits of other planets and asteroids with potentially catastrophic results.

Take some good pictures. Snap some of you with it. Take a nice final drive. Then send it off to the crusher. No one is going to save it but you.

Exactly! 1 speed or bust! A sports car shouldn’t have any interruptions to it’s torque output. Just deliver one big flat wave of “go!" That, is engagement!

Well... He's not crazy. Right?

If you really want that experience, your best option is to convert an ICE to BEV. I wouldn’t wait on manufacturers producing your tactile dream machine.

Tesla’s don’t cog, even my old Prius didn’t cog. The torque at low rpm is so smooth that I park the car within a centimeter of the wall even on a slight incline. No ICE has ever given me that confidence, the throttle response has too much delay and non-linearity.
