I think that the only thing you need on a HUD is speed, safe driving warnings (lane departure), and navigation. For racing it’s way different. Regardless, no one needs to see fuel or oil temp in their HUD, if you are worried about that you can slow down (safely) and maybe even pull over.

You have to spend money to make money. The plan for Tesla’s profit has been 2020 since the Model S in 2012. They’re going to burn money, it’s called investing in the future. New infrastructure doesn’t turn an immediate profit. Scale that up to Tesla and you better be ready to wait.

Actually Tesla isn’t supposed to turn a profit until 2020. That’s been the plan for the last 6 years. You don’t beat 100 year old competition overnight.
