Tesla was over valued at $350, $270 is closer to reality. Unfortunately, none of these swings has anything to do with that. Regardless, I can’t wait until I can order my 3. I might pull the trigger this year.

None of those companies understand cars and they would all kill Tesla. Tesla is currently in the best hands available. No one else both understands and is willing to do what is necessary to make the BEV revolution happen and end the ICE age. This kind of stuff takes an Elon Musk to do. Outsiders will get squimish.

The average person would be better off buying cars that just came off a 3 year lease. No need to take a wrench to it and someone else already paid the bulk of the depreciation. Just don’t finance more than you have. Look at the total cost after all interest is added up. If a dealer ever tells you something you didn’t

I bought a Prius in VA for $5,400 taxes and fees and still spent another $1,200 getting it past MD state inspection. It has 180,000 miles and white smoke comes out at start up. This thing isn’t going around the world, it’s going into a junk yard in 50k miles if it makes it that far.

Not everyone has the talent or even time to be their own mechanic. Back in 08 I tried to install a short throw shifter in my 05 Altima v6 5mt and I had to pay to get it towed and reassembled. I couldn’t put the center console back together for the life of me. I even sucked at putting hubcaps on my mom’s Camry. It’s a

I agree with this move, but only if they drop the door part...

It’s nice but Americans only spend big on SUV’s and foreign cars. Tesla breaks that only because they created something radically different and have a completely different approach. Plus they have Elon.

You forgot the regenerative braking. Also, refining oil takes electricity which has to be produced too. Furthermore, how fuel efficient do you think tanker ships are? Did you factor in oil spills? Oil leaks? Clean up costs? How about the health costs of smog? Or the climate costs of CO2?

Have you looked at old computers? Solid state electronics last forever so long as you protect it from climate and voltage extremes.

The worst is when show up at the dealer and the car listed is sold and then they try to sell you something else.

The first duty of an autonomous car is to it’s occupants. Those outside the car have their own duty to protect themselves. Trying save people who have the freedom to move on their own is a losing game.

The Z definitely needs to diverge from the Q60. AT only is a no go. Just keep the old platform and trim some weight.

The last thing the Z needs is to become more expensive. Just cut some weight, update the interior, and do a mild exterior refresh. Don’t get too funky with the exterior.

The problem with waiting for it mature is that either you make it mature or you play catch up. Either you take charge and lead, or you get left behind.

The roof.

Cadillac is making great sedans right now and only the SUV’s are selling.

Well maybe there’s another service in your area? You could also go the home filtration route: https://www.aquasana.com

No, it’s way cheaper. ReadyRefresh is charging me $7.49 per 5 gallon jug. I dropped some coin on my water cooler since my wife likes cold water, but that’s a one time purchase. They make cheap ones and the cheapest option is a hand pump. Steel water bottles are common now you can easily get them for under $20 and they

The nice part about Mustangs is how fast they depreciate.
