The Florida Project not earning a Best Picture nomination strikes me as the biggest snub of the year, especially considering that the list didn’t even hit 10.

Very bummed that The Flordia Project didn’t at least get a Best Picture nomination.

So . . .I liked this episode. It’s certainly not the strongest ep of the season, nor is it one I’d recommend to someone who wanted to see what Stranger Things was like. It may be the weakest ep in the run of the series so far, but not at all by a wide margin. To say that it was a total failure is ridiculous hyperbole.

A lot of the pushback against this episode is pretty overblown (I read an article calling it one of the “worst episodes of TV ever” - really?), but there’s no denying that it was a pretty mediocre episode and extremely poorly placed in the overall season, interrupting what should be a build-up to the climax.
