True. Thanks. Probably best to wait until the next one appears - no one is going to look at an old one.

Here's a very stray comment  that's gone astray because I have no idea where else to post it. (I can't find any general "news items" or "whatever" conversation place on AV Club. Is there one?)

"His cases often take him to ancient, prestigious Oxford,". They don't *take* him to Oxford: he lives and works there. Did you perhaps mean to say "His cases often take him to ancient, prestigious Oxford UNIVERSITY"?

My mistake. It probably showed here on Tuesday too. I thought this review was actually a preview since I thought Caroline said it was showing on the evening of July 4, not "Independence Day Eve" by which she must have meant July 3. First time I've ever heard of it referred to that way, which I missed. Too clever by

Where exactly is this being shown? New York (center of the world)?  Many other places too? Yes? No?

I didn't think of that, and didn't notice the Richmond posters. OK, it's someone in Richmond's office then. At this point, I'd go for his campaign manager who wants Richmond to win at all costs and would sabotage the mayor's waterfront plans, but of course we don't have all the information yet. It will be some new

You completely didn't mention that the key card opened the office (i.e. belonged to) someone who is not the mayor, but has an office in City Hall near the mayor's office. Clearly, whoever thsi is is the current prime suspect as Rosie's killer, not all these other people you mention in the opposite camp? Is there time

He looks like Groucho Marx instead.

I'm not enjoying this as much as I think I hoped I would. I'm getting impatient because I find it so silly and trivial. I wish they weren't so afraid of identifying the Veep and administration as either Democrat or Republican - they should  just pick one and go with it.  Yes, I realize they don't want people thinking

On Wikipedia, it says 22 episodes were ordered. I wonder if they were/are all made (it also says shooting in Toronto through April 2012).

I guess AV Club stopped following The Firm months ago, when it switched to Saturday night black hole. Last night was pretty good. Does anyone know how many episodes there are left? They're up to 12, and finally seem to be narrowing in on the main plot at long last, but not fast enough for next week's to be the finale.
