The controls are shockingly bad

Yah Ive played sports competitively for 25 years and coached it and acting like that would get you screamed at and benched by any coach I know after about 5 or 6 goals maybe. Youre entitled to score if thats part of the tournaments format, but I just dont know what would make someone celebrate like that.
