If you want to watch what eventually war will turn into go here:

I really like this one.

Ive been making morrowind mods for ages. One time I made this great dungeon mod, but didn't want people to just use the console to disable clipping to get through the teleport mazes. Since I couldnt stop it, I put monsters in the area between the actual walls. They would be invisible you see, and would only be able to

I'm also more sympathetic to the game since it was the first game by a newly-minted developer. In cases like that, I think that good ideas are just as important as apparent flaws—as long as the developer has another chance to try to improve upon its previous work!

so you are saying that a game that you yourself claim is average at best, with flawed mechanics, and a provably cliche story/writing is worth someone's time and money? That hit almost every checkbox for why you SHOULDN'T play a game. the only thing it has going for it is aesthetic / graphics

same here, my gf is pretty, nerdy and tomboyish. girls like her should come by the dozen. f** the guys who feel intimidated.

Spoiler!

Honestly, I can't bite my tongue any more. Patricia's post are useless. totally useless.

I do :)

Ya, why would anyone want to make combat tense and weighty by making death actually mean something? And making it optional for after you've mastered the game proper and are looking for a top tier challenge is just absurd, too.

You know, this would be a nice read if you didn't read between the lines. Specially this little chestnut:

Yeah, but you don't go on and publically say "Don't bother me, you're all actually worthless!" The guy here seems like he has just found out The Truth no one else knew and now wants to share it with the world. Well, it's not like no one else knows The Terrible Truth, they/you know it all right, but everyone knows

Most gamers hated him for being really douchy when he addressed just about anyone, dev, reporter, or gamer.

I don't know man, all my NES, SNES, N64, PSX, PS2 and GC games are pretty complete in-cartridge/disc. Most of my PS3 and Wii games are pretty complete too (had to wait for GOTY for some). Sure, expandable content has always existed. But it was the exception, not the rule. Again, I recognize DLC can be good and can be

Censored? Not here, but it happens a lot on Steam forums and official forums when you question the quality of a game you purchased. For indie games way more often than AAA games ironically. It seems I shouldn't have added that part about retailer exclusive content in my list of grievances, because that makes me

The shadiness comes from the fact that companies continually try to find ways to nickel and dime consumers for things that were formerly part of completed games. Remember when games had unlockable extra costumes? Now it's just a ton of dlc bullshit.

The whole point of my original post, before this devolved into the argument had a million times, is that I'm not surprised this developer (and according to him, many more) feel that way about "gamers", because the industry as a whole is not exactly hiding it.

This is the first time I've ever heard of Puppy Games, and now I will forever associate their name with hating all their customers for the actions of a few loudmouths.

I really mostly blame the dev, or rather the dev who make a big deal out of every negative comment. Pretty much every "controversy" I see fall within two category:

Yeah it wasn't perfect, and the memory-fiddling mini game was criminally underused (I think I'd happily play a game of just that, actually) but I had a fun weekend with it.
