This is exactly what I think about this whole thing. Buying a console at launch has always been risky because of things like this. Heck, this applies a lot of new technology is this industry.

Because the xbox one isn't a gaming consoles. It's an entertainment center. This has been said time and time again. The whole damn thing is built around integrating the kinect so that it work as a controller in and of itself. I could say the same thing about the tiny screen on the ps4 controller.

Why is this constantly compared to God of War? The only thing they have in common is the time period. One is based off of mythology while one is based of history. Just stop. That's like saying killzone is just a second rate halo.

As I said, anyone who is interested in games know what an xbox is and that it plays games. They are targeting a broader audience, not a different one. And they are advertising the other features now because football just started, so it makes sense if you actually think about it. Arguing with you anymore at this point…

That is exactly what they are doing. They are expanding their user base by providing more services. Why this is even opposed is far beyond me. Everyone who is even slightly interested in gaming knows what an xbox or a playstation is. That is already covered, so why not focus on the things that aren't know about?…
