Akira isn’t that great. Sure, it is strikingly beautiful - but it pales in comparison to the manga, and as a stand alone product it has a rather weak story.

Buy a new set. Of all the things to not half-ass, tires are right up there with brakes and steering. There are so many good reasons to never fit a set of used tires to your vehicle, and maybe like one good reason to.

Because the tire is the only thing that should be touching the road, and if you’re half assing tires, you might end up with a lot more of your vehicle touching the road. Seriously, of all the things to NOT half-ass, tires are right up there with brakes and steering.

We can clearly see that the area of snow contacting the bottom of the truck is much larger than the area of snow contacting the bottom of the tires. Lockers or not, getting off of that is not going to be easy. Just because the tires are contacting the snow does not mean they have sufficient grip to move the vehicle.…
