Actually people have been improving cars for decades to make them safer for people. Because the government and industry realized cars had been a lot less safe for people than they could be. So they made new laws and changed cars themselves to make people safer.
But somebody might take away their toys! How will they enjoy being alive if somebody takes their toys away?

I’m always a bit suspicious of people who love guns a lot more than they love people.
Well if he is a criminal, he most certainly would have to have guns, as the NRA tells us, if we make any laws against having guns, only criminals will have them.
