Many moons ago I test drove my cousins Alfetta GT. Getting inside the car, I immediately fell in love with the dashboard. Rev counter in front of the driver, other not so important stuff gathered in the center console. On a regular production car. In the 70's. Alfa wins again.

Don't forget the classic interview from 2011. McGuinness' comments after the 3 minute mark are hilarious.

Michele Mouton is hard to beat, but I'd like to mention Ewy Rosqvist. Winning the 4626km long rally Argentinian Gran Premo Standard in 1962 puts her and her codriver Ursula Wirth firmly in the history books.

Vittorio Jano, because race car.

I thought the answer always was Facel Vega. Or it should be. I'm serious.

BMW have a nice tradition of f-ed up, vomit inducing cars.

It's the simplicity in the late 80's cars that I like. Clean uninterrupted lines. Not much poking out everywhere. Wings were still pretty simple designs.

Faster or slower, I don't really care. Late 80's F1 cars were very beautiful compared to the atrocities of today.

I say that is a great choise that I actually considered myself when I lived in a city. My poor car got som much abuse from asshats that didn't know how to park properly that a Wrangler with extra side steps was my number one option when I was forced to look for a new car.

One of the most memorable ones in the hands of Ewy Rosqvist and her co-driver Ursula Wirth.

Go back a whole bunch of years and you see quite a few of these, I think. In the 1930s Alfa Romeo used the supercharged inline 8 from Alfa Romeo 8C in their road cars for example. Or the V8 in Alfa Romeo Montreal which was based on the engine from the Tipo 33.

Calling one of the most beautiful modern day four door saloons ugly... I'm speechless

I agree on your comment, the diesels are here to stay. Unfortunately. The soot particles you mentioned are hardly discussed at all. All they see is CO2 readings, and diesels do well on those.

Don't forget the oh so sexy XJ13

I never use cupholders either. The ones I do have in one of my cars are of such crappy design that if you put a cup/bottle in them and accelerate, the cup/bottle falls over. So I've come to the conclusion that the only kind of container that would survive a 25%+ throttle input are whisky tumblers with their low center

Because scandinavian flicks.

The Alfa 75 is still quite popular among the Alfa people here in Sweden. Great track day car with some mods, though many prefer the 2.0 Twin Spark since it's a bit more agile thanks to less weight in the front.

This is probably one of the scariest videos I've seen in a long while. And I've seen a lot of weird stuff on the net over the years. She's there on two different occasions. Plenty of time to change her mind. But no, she's just looking for an easy way out, with no regards to how it would affect other peoples lives. I

I fell in love with the Brera concept car when it was introduced at the 2002 Geneva Motor Show. When I saw the production car, I wanted to cry. It's pretty, alright, but nowhere near the elegance of the concept car. And no V8 (concept had a Maserati V8, but later we'd see this marriage come true in the Alfa 8C).

Try to get hold of the Alfa GT instead, the last model with the magnificent Busso V6 and a very pretty car on top of that.
