I remember reading somewhere that the Range Rovers with Jaguar V8 were more reliable than the RR with a BMW V8. Wish I remembered where thought... But I do know that the RR that a friend of mine has, with the Jaguar engine, has had all kinds of problem but none of them related to the engine. One example doesn’t prove

Hmmm yea... it starts with a marker and ends with spray cans. At least for my friends Opel Kadett C, -78? -79?, back in -90. But it was quite fun, it turned into a graffiti car. Wish I had some pictures available for you, it looked great when finished.

1st gear: I understand the ease of entry/exit reasoning, but at 46, with a not too healthy back, I still want to sit pretty close to the ground. Riding in my friends Range Rover just feels weird. What am I doing up here??

Even naked a Miura is beautiful

Just like the Porsche 928, prices are going up. Have a look at german car sales site mobile.de and you’ll see that the good ol’ days when you easily could get a half decent 850 or 928 for €5000-6000 are over. In a way it’s a good thing, people will take better care of them now.

Here in Sweden there’s a sign on the inside of the gates that says if you get trapped, drive through the gates. Better to have a dented car than a trainwreck with injuries/deaths.

Three of my all time favourites, good job! I’ve got the AutoArt 1:18 version of the XJ13, love that design!

Why the “I”? Sick and tired of I-something as product names. Especially when renowned brands like Jaguar do it.

Get the Lego version and install electric motors. It’s a bit scary at full speed.

I saw Heat at the cinema when it came out. The shootout during the robbery, in full surround at the cinema, was very immersive. You really felt like you were in the middle of the action. And proper sounding weapons on top of that. Still one of the best shootout scenes in modern movies.

I’m just sad you can’t get a proper V6 anymore.

Why fake Ferraris when you can buy a real Porsche?

The sound of an aircooled VW flat 4 is usually a pretty good indication it’s not a real Ferrari. Still love that sound though.

A Busso V6 with a Kreissieg exhaust system makes the world a better place.

I thought you compared the DB7 to the XKR and blamed the DB7's lower grip on the 265's, my mistake. Re-read and realised you were talking about both cars having low numbers.

I’d say a manual is the one thing I miss. I’ve had my XKR for six years now, and that is one of the main reasons I’m now looking at other options. It’s a wonderful car to drive, a real GT, but I can’t help thinking that a manual would’ve turned this car into something really great.

I’ve got 255's on my XKR. 235 front. Tyre width shouldn’t be the reason for lower skid pad numbers.

Test drove the V6 S Coupe and fell in love with it. Absolutely prefer the V6 sound to the V8 one. Now I’m just waiting for someone willing to trade an F-Type S Coupe for my old XKR... sigh

I think my favourite clip with Tiff is when he drives the Pagani Zonda R. Just look at the last part when he sums up his experience with the car, you can really tell how much he enjoyed it. And he’s been racing some pretty amazing machines in his career.

Britax B-Safe is a great choise, we had the same last year when our daughter was born.
