I ignore the user reviews on Metacritic. They’ve always been worthless. At best maybe you can read a few individual reviews that seems to be trying to give a legitimately fair evaluation, but the overall aggregate score is worthless.

His favorite movie the the JCVD film Bloodsport, and he makes someone (presumably because he can’t use a remote) fast-foward through all the non-fighting parts. Man can’t even sit still through a whole popcorn action flick, he just wants the punching bits.

The summaries you read don’t encapsulate the entirety of the film. Reading about citizen Kane and hearing that it’s about a journalist finding out that rosebud is just a sled would make it seem very unworthy of its accolades.

This whole thing was heartbreaking. Having lost my mom at a relatively young age (I was 16), I can totally understand the desire to do something like this, and I do not judge the family for it.
