One thing I forgot to bring up earlier was the heavy symbolism going on with Jon Snow while he was fighting the Thenn leader…gets smashed on an anvil, thrown through a fire…literally being "forged" into a true leader. And his spitting in the Thenn's face was a nice callback to his fight with Karl a few episodes ago,

I feel like this show got better as it went along, but as others mentioned it has a few glaring problems:

It is a strange show indeed where you wish the epic battle would cut away to people talking back at the capital, yet here we are.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts about the episode!

True, but they spent a lot of time apart in the interim.

Even though I had Oberyn's death spoiled for me (the fact that he dies, not the actual where/when/how), and even though I got a strong Apollo Creed vs. Ivan Drago vibe with all his dancing around, I was still shocked at his death. Bravo, everybody. Not much phases me anymore but I just kind of stared at the wall for a

I can't imagine the Viper/Mountain battle ending up in a way that we would want…even beyond the "it is Game Of Thrones so of course it won't".

The actor playing the (new) Mountain is 6'9 and over 400 pounds.

Interesting…though the statue sure looked male to me.

If you take the song "Roll The Bones" and swap those words out for "Game Of Thrones" it works surprisingly well.

Ok, my whodunit theory (100% book free):

Olenna was clearly involved and in all conceivability the primary ringleader. I'm thinking she procured the necklace via sending all those girls shopping (perhaps recognizing it for what it really was only after it came back by chance), and had Dontos pass it to Sansa under

According to something I read somewhere (honestly can't recall), that scene was originally set for the premiere (like, the original premiere) but was pushed waaaay back until now. It kind of makes sense as being the first time you see any of those characters if you think about it that way.

I felt the same way…especially when you recall the seemingly detached investigation she undertook in regards to Joffrey's character last season via Sansa. Her whole "oh, he is the devil? These things happen I guess" attitude was just a put on.

I'm working on a theme song for Arya and the Hound, to the tune of "Pinky and The Brain". In true internets fashion I will start it so the rest of you can do the heavy lifting…erm, I mean "crowdsource".

I'm hoping/assuming that there will be more dates added betwixt Montreal and Moogfest (like, oh, anywhere in the Northeast) since I'd love to see this…just not enough to buy a plane ticket.

I really dig this show. Of course, I am a sucker for:

I'm loving the Xbox One so far…the other night I was able to search for a movie, choose which service I wanted to use (ie Amazon for streaming, Vudu for renting, etc), start the movie, pause it, etc. all without touching anything other than the pizza and beer in front of me. It would have been nice if the reviewer
