Ever since I was a little kid I wish I could have sunglasses, eye-implants, or Techno-EyePatch that gave me a HUD over whatever I was looking at. This is exactly what I'm looking for. Now we just need the relevant software.

They should have used a kid making plane sounds instead of that music. "Brrrrrrrooooom Brroooom pfffftttftfttt" They're being flung around like toys!

Many people I've talked to feel very safe bashing companies and corporations without giving thought to the millions of human beings they employ and the families they support. I believe the best reaction to this PSN debacle is to stop using PSN, stop using a credit card on PSN, or provide less information to PSN. The

I'm so confused. How is Tom Tom collecting this data? I thought GPS devices were receivers only. Do Tom Toms have some kind of special wireless service or something? I've never used the brand before.

I had so many cases and accessories for my GameBoy. I even had this monstrosity... and I loved it!

So you're saying that, if the pellets get hot enough to melt the tube they're in, the pellets will still be able to increase in heat 800° C before they themselves are compromised, exposing the raw nuclear materials?

"And on the inside: The radioactive material is encased in ceramic pellets that guard against corrosion and heat-up to 3,000° C. Three hundred and sixty of those pellets are then sealed in a 13-foot metal tube that's rated to withstand temperatures up to 2,200° C."

It's my understanding, having worked in a California school district, that California schools are, in fact, paid by attendance. It's a huge issue and is why they have detention and Saturday school to make up the time. I believe it's also based on graduation rate and maybe even grades. It seems this causes better

Wow, I remember watching that commercial as a kid. As an adult I now understand how they advertise things so kids, with their big imaginations and limited understanding of technology and marketing, will go crazy after seeing this, begging their parents to buy it. I remember how cool and amazing I thought it was.

Yeah, at least I could charge a couple extra batteries for my PSP1000-3000 before I got on a long flight.

I do like the idea of continuing a game on the go, and maybe that's feasible in certain cases. But as a few have said before me, PS3 games are meant for that big bright HD screen, that 7.1 lossless audio, the familiar Dualshock grip in your hands, and to enjoy those big cinematic graphics.

"WHHHAAAAAAAAATTT?!!!"

That's so gritty. I love it.

I felt this way recently when Resistance 2 came out.

@TanyaRei: Seems that the overall PSP experience was a varied one.

@L: Thank you for your detailed response. I guess I was a little confused. I was thinking of new types of game mechanics as in needing a 3D screen to progress through a game, much like how new interfaces create new game mechanics (touch screen, motion sensing, cameras, mics, etc...).

@TanyaRei: Thanks for the response. A clarification: $5 is the retail cost of the flash cards I mentioned, not the manufacturing cost. If UMDs initially cost between $1 & $2 to manufacture and 2GB flash cards are retailing for $5, it's conceivable that the manufacturing costs could be inline with UMDs and will drop

@Ash Paulsen: I'm not sure people are reading that right. I believe the point is that Nintendo tries out new and inventive ways of playing games that appeal to people who were "non-gamers". It's the same thing with the Wii: the "whimsical" and approachable motion controls expanded Nintendo's audience into "territory"
