There was plenty of glorification of gun violence in the first season, too. I have to wonder if you even watched it.

I did read the book, and it does not mention the political affiliation of the government. Tasha decided to call them conservative, even though hunting down all humans so you can make them pay taxes seems much more like a liberal thing to me (and to anyone who pays any attention to politics).

You should keep the political stuff out of your reviews. The "conservative" government on Earth that wants to hunt down all humanity so they can tax them sounds a lot more like modern liberals, who just love to tax, than conservatives.
