If your gut reaction to this is to jump in the comments and talk down to imaginary toxic misogyny in this thread (that doesn’t exist at least not yet) then it might be time to realize you’re an insufferable asshole and nobody likes your holier-than-thou crybaby rants?

2nd gear:

Why is this article published at Jalopnik?

Might’ve helped to mention that there’s already an extant case history involving drivers seeking reclassification. The NLRB ruled in favor of drivers, only to have their opinion overturned by the D.C. Circuit.

This has nothing to do with their programmers. German reliability has been a problem for decades.

That is the backbone of socialism: exploitation of those who the elite can exploit, and then they pay themselves massive salaries in made-up high-level positions (that’s why there are all kinds of “equity” managers, CRT assholes, etc. and of course “homelessness managers” making high six figures but solving nothing

“Oh yeah, the Supra. Turns out, I really enjoyed driving it, and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t make myself care that it’s more BMW than Toyota”

No no no. The news told them to harass those two so the left can sink the economy and inflate us into poverty. Don’t bring logic into this! Also, your highly-starred comment is suspiciously at the bottom of the comments. Sounds about left.

Why are we shaming someone for owning a nice car?  Don’t we like interesting cars here?

I don’t see any lurching or threatening behavoir at all. Inching forward cautiously is perhaps the single best way to handle such a situation.

Sorry, these idiots are to blame. Don’t try to trap people. We’ve seen too many videos where the protesters escalate into violence in just a few seconds.

Was there another video that wasn’t linked with the mentioned “lurched forward”? Letting the car creep forward instead of just waiting for the guys that were clearing them away to finish doing so wasn’t a great move, but it also wasn’t some Charlottesville incident in the making.

This is Shilling we’re talking about. His ability to write about anything other than a pro-union piece, while ignoring history and any other salient facts, is extremely tenuous at best.

“It’s really too bad that Toyota is now experiencing the consequences of its own actions.”

Seriously, fuck the UAW. How can literally ANYONE defend them in 2021.

This is a car site, what’s your complaint?

What does white have to do with it?

Ok, as someone who lives in mexico (cd juarez chihuahua to be exact) this is total bulls**t, most of the people who use this types of cars are not poor, to the contrary the are cheap, and there is a difference, most of them drive LUXURY cars and mostly new cars, it is incredibly rare to se an old illegal car. These

“The cars are already here, tell me if the [United Nations] Army or what power will be able to take them out and send them, where are you going to send them? The cars are already here. I think it would be a very favorable solution to be legalized,” Castillo said last week in the Chamber of Deputies.

Charging at home will only be cheaper than gasoline until govt decides to tax it to get the revenue it expected from gasoline. The technology to do so is well within the abilities of smart meters.
