4th Gear: “Unions have the Right Idea”
They made a parade float and marched. Then they ‘declared war’ on their employer, but the quoted article did not describe how that would manifest itself.
I’m not sure what you are trying to do here, Raph. You posed your question, I guess, and the answers will likely be as divided

Honestly it just feels like it’s written by a middle schooler, and a lazy one too. I’d much rather read something I disagree with than something insipid.

Rockets blow up, we should stop going to space as well.

Man, I am a liberal, tree-hugging, bike commuting, green economy loving individual, and agreeing with @v10omous actually brings me pain, but every piece of opinion put forth in this article is hot garbage.

For real

A Morning Shift finally hit 5/5 wrong takes, congrats all around!

I really want that light bar to display messages backwards for rear-view mirror readablility.

Wow is this really the point Jalopnik has gotten to? I’ve read it a lot less than I used to, but I didn’t realize it was actually at the point of pearl clutching “anyone who does 120 mph on a freeway should be killed” articles. Throw in the masturbatory “while I’m currently peaking” comment and this could have been

Justin: “It’s deadly when people speed excessively.”
Also Justin: “People that speed excessively should be incinerated.”

Would excessive speeding like this be reduced if all speed limits were based on some sort of scientifically-based actual safe traveling speed, rather than having areas of arbitrary reduced limits, seemingly for no reason other than revenue generation?

Shilling really is the biggest hack on Jalopnik.

This, folks, is a great illustration that we do not, in fact, have a revenue problem. We have a spending problem.

“the price of installing the infrastructure, including a charging network, for the electric BMW i3s ran a cost of over $10 million.”

Raph: “Happy as I would be for this to mean we’d get a hastily reworked Honda E as, I don’t know, a new Chevy Vega, I think this will actually just end up with some all-electric Honda crossover.”

Eric, with the same info: “I guess this just means two huge conglomerates can save money for their investors instead of

we’ve built a system in which the rich always do just fine.”

So many people seem to be forgetting that not everyone lives within urban sprawl. Most of the suggestions in the comments would cripple a large number of the rural population that already live hand to mouth and have no choice but to drive long distances for work. I’m not saying nothing should be done, but it’s a lot

Don’t forget, you also have to figure out how to interject politics into every article!

hold on a sec - you took a wagon to a drive-in and didn’t pull it in backwards and enjoy the movie that way? yeah, this mediocre experience is all on you bruh!

There is a huge BLM banner that is click bait on the home page.  Sold out ages ago.

My battalion commander actually dismounted my Stryker [personnel carrier] and shouted “Leroy Jenkins!” during one of our missions.
