“I was on the market for a new 328, guess it’s officially off the list ...”

Why do you care so much? It’s an honest job with honest pay that no one is forced against their will to perform. Grow up.

To be fair the Ford 4.6 has always been a wheezy dog, whereas the 3.6 Pentastar is actually a really good engine. Regardless, vans are really fast nowadays.

You’re wrong. The problem is ZF designed the transverse 9 speed to use dog clutches. It’s a bad German ZF design and FCA, Land Rover, and Acura have all had to apply fixes to lessen complaints.

The reason why it does this is because the best efficiency for the engine is at a certain temp, so to get the engine there quicker is actually WAY EASIER on the engine/environment than running sluggish and idling goofy.

“In the mornings its a little different, its scheduled and done for me as part of charging up... while in a garage, try that shit with your ICE.

Because ZF didn’t have the 9-speed ready and the Hyundai 6-speed hadn’t been packaged and engineered yet. FCA had to rush because of the industry ignorant mandated deadline from the Obama administration. The same Obama administration that made GM screw it bond holders by forcing them to give massive equity to the UAW

The Dart was even more stupid, launched with a stick with automatics to follow, and they planned it that way. It’s almost as if Fiat was new (again) to selling cars in the U.S

Hahahaha! Please don’t move here and tell everyone else no too either. Plzthnxbai

That’s quite the rationalization, and cute that you think your gas taxes are spent on Healthcare... or spent responsibly at all.

You think our military “plays at GI Joe”? Go fuck yourself.

Expeditions have third rows, and Americans like big engines in big vehicles and happily buy them when gas is cheap.... which isn’t new or particularly odd.

They’re cheaper and rear brakes only do 10% of the work.

To save gas and decrease driveline wear. Automatic hubs and automatic AWD/Auto 4x4 only started appearing in the 70s and 80s in America much less shit holes like China, Russia, and North Korea. And the ditch was certainly deep enough to hangup any short wheelbase if it is hit in the right direction, which this UAZ did.

Guess he should have stayed, right?

What is the point of this?

Good job turning a heart-warming story about bravery and humanity in the face of brutal fascism into another pointless dig about Trump (who had nothing to do with any aspect of it). Any chance for a snarky virtue signaling tho right?

It was in two-wheel drive, has an open diff, and he hit the ditch sideways and off camber. It was not the truck’s fault.

Ummm, he’s cheated on his wife. Sorry

Again, not at all what I wrote. Are you capable of discussing anything without erecting strawmen and misrepresenting every point offered to you? Concentrate on yourself, not others.
