Acura has a lifetime warranty on their seat belts (owner’s manual) and should replace them for free though the stealorships lie and say they won’t. If you complain they eventually will. Otherwise there is a free fix involving cleaning the micro-switch…

They are keeping the old body style for the upfitters, fleets, and for the heavy duties. Pretty standard practice currently. One they engineer the 2500+ they will kill the old style.

I have a 02 RL. Check the “main relay” under the steering column. Hondas/Acuras have this relay and the contacts inside get corroded. You can re-solder it or buy a new one. Search EricTheCarGuy “main relay” on YouTube.

He’s not taking into account the 10% ethanol in today’s gas which can affect mileage by around 10%. His Hwy mileage was probably very close to the Mfg rating.
